Bob Duffy

ok, everyone has their favorite SQL guru and favorite SQL tips. There are some people whose names you associate with insight and good advice. Sentences that begin with "So and so says..." make you take notice when you might otherwise be too distracted to listen as you should.

Well, I am no different.

Today I put the spotlight on one of my favorite SQL gurus - Bob Duffy. Bob simply rocks. Here are some of my favorite posts that he has written. Each one is a priceless gem.

SQL Server Memory Architecture. Myth Busting and how sad is AWE/32 bit.

UPDATE:

I just cited another classic post by Bob today in a discussion at work:

is your Anti-Virus Strangling SQL Server?
